My Story

From an early age my Dad instilled in me the importance of mentors and learning from elders. By the time I was at University, I was lucky enough to have many mentors. One such mentor, a YPOer who had exited his business and transitioned to become one of the top forum facilitators and coaches in YPO, introduced me to the world of forum at 19 years old. He challenged me to round up 7 of my fraternity buddies and in a very intense and transformative 3-day retreat he launched us into our first forum. I had no idea what I was getting myself into but I caught the "forum bug!"

I belive that having a confidential space of peers who can not only relate but also provide a diversity of perspective and experience is one of the best technologies we have to support us in navigating leadership, entrepreneurship, and life. I truly see this is a vital competitive advantage, especially for high achievers. The ability to "sit around the fire," share stories, learn from each other, and tap into a collective consciousness is arguably the backbone of humans' ability to adapt, innovate, and create. I never thought I would do anything professionally related to the forum world but it became a calling. In 2012, once I built some financial freedom in my life, I decided to shift my primary focus from real estate and finance into YPO/EO forum faciltation and executive coaching.

As many of you know, this is not a world you typically just step into on your own. This is a referral only type of world. So, 8 years after that initial forum launch, I reached back out to that mentor who launched us and declared to him that this was my calling and that I want to carry the torch. Luckily, he saw something in me and allowed me to be his apprentice. He opened up his books, showed all that he knew, vouched for me and connected me to this world. In my mid to late 20s, I became one the youngest YPO and EO forum facilitator out there and with his backing and my commitment to excellence my reputation grew quickly, I am forever grateful for his faith in me and the energy he put into grooming me.

Now, I am a top rated YPO Certified Forum Facilitator (CFF), have worked with thousands of executives and hundreds of forums. I'm considered a trusted advisor to many CEO's, their executive teams and their family's. Within my practice, my primary focus is one on one coaching with CEOs, the majority of which are YPOers or EOers. The rest of my vocational energy is spent on forum retreat facilitation, forum training, leadership team offsite / experiences, and family custom events.

In addition to my facilitation and coaching practice, I am an investor, a founder of the Local Leaders Collective, I play ice hockey, drums, ski, and spend as much time out in outdoors as I can. Most importantly, I cherish my time and relationships with family which includes my beautiful wife (Yrma), who I have know since 7th grade, my son (Adrian), my daughter (Sayla) and my doggie (Kloe). We are blessed to reside in Boca Raton, FL throughout the school year and spend the summer out in Colorado.
